Don't see how popping them in with a drift would do anything
other than elongate them making them even looser in the hole.
I'd bet those are meant to be bucked from one side and set.
Now,,,,,that I've opened my big mouth and blurted out my
thoughts,,,,,I'll go to your link to Jim Carter's site
and see what they have to say about installing them. Of
course I've got a '50 so it don't really mean much to me.
