| | | | Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 22 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 22 | I'm having a heck of a time with my regulator. 6V system with typical cut out, voltage coil and current coil. As presently adjusted when the battery is a bit low it sends 30+ amps and torches my fuses. I've tried adjusting the regulator and the tiniest adjustment to the contact plates causes it to cut out and not charge at all. I usually have to re-polarize the generator after too. Any suggestions or should I just buck up for a new one? | | |
