Are you adjusting the current regulator points behind the ARM connection? The cutout relay (behind the BAT terminal) should close at 6.5-6.75 volts, and the voltage regulator (behind the F terminal) should regulate max voltage at 7.5 volts against a fully-charged battery. The current regulator should operate at either 25 or 30 amps, depending on which generator you have. Setting the current regulator at 25 will work with either generator.

All adjustments will reduce slightly when the regulator cover is replaced due to better magnetic conduction, so make all the above adjustments very slightly higher than specified.
