Just to provide a counterpoint to Jerry's excellent explanation of why we need positive caster and how it works, some vehicles actually do go the opposite direction and use negative cater. Mostly late '50s to mid '60s Fords, especially the Thunderbird. Given how those cars are setup, with the engine set as far forward as they are, it would be for easier steering effort.
