The originals appeared to be "nailed" to the body before the body was set onto the chassis....mine is a 52 with one piece plywood. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r19/LutherParris/52Panel/100_0439.jpgNote that on my blocks they covered only half the block...to covered only what sat on the chassis, to save material.
