Hy Raoul, in order for the fuel gauge to work it must have a sending unit which operates in the same ohms range as the gauge it is designed to work with,
the AD gauges are designed to work at 0 to 30 ohm range.
as 3B states the sender and gauge must match.
if you get a sender the is 0 to 90 ohm then youll have to find a gauge that range
