Got the cables in for the kick panel vents, but I'm at a loss on how to install them so that they work. My first question is should the vents "Spring" open one way or another without the cables installed? Currently, mine don't spring open one way or another, which leads me to believe there should be a spring; but I'm not sure about this. I have the cables run and mounted, just can't figure out how to mount them to the vents so they can operated correctly.
