I saw an episode of American Hot Rod where Charlie sealed the body of a car before the body work was done. This is in a closed environment. Maybe this is some sort of metal prep? It seems like if you do that you would be just grinding and sanding all the sealer off. They actually spread body filler over the whole car and then sanded it off. What is the sealer/metal prep product he used and what was the reason?
