I've been thinking about PCV installation since Denny's thread on how wives react to how trucks perfume a garage after shut down.

If an air filter could be fit into the draft tube, a PCV valve could be mounted to the rocker cover (preferably over the oil transfer fitting to minimize exposure to splashing.) I think that many engines in the 1970's had PCVs in the rocker cover.

This would allow for a shorter PCV tube run and a less intrusive installation - it might look more original.

Any thoughts on pulling the air through the engine "backwards"?

Just wondering aloud.
