If you have a 216, you will have several vents in the valve cover to deal with. I will bet that the valve cover vents are the biggest, if not the sole source of the lovely smell, which I enjoy as much as Hoppes Gun cleaner, and the smell directly extracted from freshly shot ammunition brass.
