rat, I have never seen a cab dipped in primer, but I hear it looks good. Bullfoot said he had a couple of cabs primer dipped, and there was another post from a guy in Canada who had his primer dipped at a Redi-Strip up there. I'm not sure how they deal with the dry-out problem that Muygrande mentioned, and, as he said, it is an expensive operation to get started, so I'm sure they are quite rare.

Can anyone tell me more about soda blasting? Is it a home project, or best left to professionals?

Fatfenders, I see a post from you last Christmas saying you thought the soda didn't do well on rust, and you were having trouble with the residue it left behind. How did that work out?
