Have a '53 chevy pickup that has a 10 bolt GM rear end out of a 68 firebird setting under the stock truck springs. Sets too high and the springs look too narrow for the spring perch/pads on the axle. Any thoughts on lowering 2 to 4 inches with out getting elaborate on the replacing the springs?
