Thanks for all your help. In fact, I was looking at some cheap sprayers today. I figure it will be sanded so all I care about is applying some material.
So, fear of compatibility is the problem. So, I should just stick to laquer primer? Could I spray some of the heavier surfacing primer with such a gun? A couple of coats of that stuff all sanded down would sure make the job look nice.
