If this has already been discussed I'm sorry, I've tried to set the timing on my 250 using my timing light attached to #1 plug wire.( the one closest to the radiator near the spark plug the keep away from the other wires. Thing is my timing mark on the balancer isn't anywhere close to my timing tab. It's no where to be seen, I think it's on the other side of the balancer.
Can the balancer not be bolted up correctly to the main shaft? I'm stumped. I thought there was a alignment pin down there.
