Homer - Most people just put the lower corner of the hood on the top of the cowel. I don't like that because even with the rubber corners it tends to scratch the cowel.
What I did was to fab a support rod that is connected to the radiator support on one end and a rubber foot on the other. It swivels at the radiator support end and the rubber foot goes up under the curved part of the hood. It works real well.
