My rule for CCA as passed down to me from my dad. The highest you can get in a battery that will fit where's it going. The higher you go won't hurt anything, just gives you more cranking power. I see you are in AZ, I'm in northern IL and I have a 700 to 800 CCA batteries in all of my vehicles for the climate we are in.
