there were no "fusible links" in those years - if you mean an inline fuse, you should be able to find the holders at any auto parts store, and a 14A fuse to fit that .... OTOH, you do not want the motor wired directly to a power source, it should go via a fan switch, usually multi-speed, which probably was removed from your truck, so what you really want is a heater fan control switch
