Purchased the two gauge pac from NVU of Detroit. The make an adapter plate that mounts to the existing dash studs for the standard gauges. The adapter that was sent will not work on a 1947 GMC truck! My truck is bone stock in dash area. My studs are a square dimention the adapter are not, so no fit! NVU says they have made thousands and never a problem.... Till now. They are willing to plasma cut me a new adapter plate. Very willing to get this sorted out. Just weird.
Question is; anybody familiar with two different gauge mounting stud patterns? Has anyone else encountered this?
