Thanks for posting that Red. JD, you don't "have" to prime the surface. BUt you would be wise to lightly sand it after painting with ZR. I would say that if the paint can get into the space of which you speak that it will work, you may have to brush it or force it into the joint. My approach is as follows, when I finish ZRing, I consider it to be as if it's base metal, that way I can fill it, prime it, sand it and then put on a top coat. Or I can just leave it as ZR colours and clear coat it. I'm sure Bruce Palmer can tell you where the nearest outlet is for you to buy it ...
