Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 255 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 255 | Getting ready to mount the hood on my 1950 3800 and debating whether to put some type of lining on the underside of the hood. The truck has a rebuilt 235 so I can't imagine it'll generate a whole lot of heat what with all of the open area under there. I painted the underside same color as the outside base/clear though it sounds like originally the underside was just painted with black primer. Thoughts? Suggestions?
I've used that foil covered bubble-stuff on other vehicles but with such a rounded shape I'm worried about getting good contact and a smooth fit.
