I'm not sure if this is considered off topic or not but I guess someone will tell me if it is. It is a slightly different question from my ongoing issue with the front hood emblem. This also involves the hood from my 52 2 ton. About 18 1/2" back from the front edge of the hood are two holes thru the center strip, the rear hole is 2" behind the front one. The holes are about 1/4", there was nothing there when I got the truck. I got a picture of this yesterday, just wondering if any of you guys have any idea what it might have been for. Could it have been for one of the accessory hood ornaments? Thanks,
