I was just trying to say it was more of a generic gas engine design pushed to diesel, could not think of a more generic example than the tried and true small block. But thanks for the correction. It led me to digging thorough the net and I learned something. I never really paid much attention to the fact that the 350 engines from the other GM variants besides GM and Chevy were different.
