I have the 1405 600cfm Edelbrock carb on my Pontiac engine in my truck. It was running way rich esp at low speeds. I had 10.5 lbs fuel pressure. I put in a regulator and now have about 5-6 lbs pressure. I also hooked up a pcv valve and now the truck runs much better and idle is consistant. Before the idle would hunt between 500 to 800 rpm. Mileage around town went from 11 to 14.5...
