I have done both door strips. I had the wife hold one end out of trouble as I applied the adhesive. She kept that end out of trouble while I applied from the other end. It was a piece of cake compared to the chanel strip. First channel took me hours. Second one took me 10 minutes with my newfound education. I tried every lubricant known to man, and by the last lubricant, I was ready to use ground up babies if someone suggested it. The ONLY thing that worked for my tight fit was to bend the chanel open slightly. And yes, I cut a test strip and bent and tried until it slipped thru EASILY. Then, it was a piece of cake instead of a piece of well, you know.
