Dave: Yes I read your Blog, and that may be the next thing I do. For the last 2 years, maybe 1 of 5 times I start it, one lifter will hammer for a few minutes until the oil pressure comes up.Is this something the trapped air can cause? I have 40 on the block and 15 at the top of the head. Lately it's getting ticy all the time,and that's when I noticed the oil flow on the rocker shaft was more in the middle and not so much on the ends. Got that solved. I was going to run it now for a while and see what it does now. What do you think?
