If it will help him get his question answered better, I don't have any issue with a double post. Especially in a cross-over situation like this.
Wish I could help, but my AD 1-ton is the older style with the hand-actuated parking brake next to the gear shift.
Hopefully, someone with the newer 1-ton will post the answer in here, but if not -- Check the Gallery for any of the '52 and newer 1-tons and contact some of those guys -- maybe they can help you. Or a call to Jim Carter.
