WOW! I guess I'm the only one with problems with the Newport wiper.
The main issue is slack in the output shaft that prevents a full sweep or fully return to the park position. I got fed up with it last week and bought the rear wiper motor from an early 90's Blazer for $20 and mounted it to the Newport bracket & it works great. Only drawback is it's single speed.
