Ulf, .... also check where you tailpipe ends, shouldn't be in the center portion of the bed tail, where exhaust can be drawn up and forward on the deck

What year/model truck?
As Bill asked, where does your tail pipe end? I have driven old trucks that had all the floor seals worn/gone and never smelled exhaust fumes.
