Yes...the two Holes in the image, are for your Coil to ount -

I used 4 inch long "Allthread" pieces to mount the Coil in the usual place, on my 1960 235.

Lock Nuts to secure the All Thread to the Block...then, the Coil Bracket is about 3 inches out, so the Coil stays 'cool'.

Coil Bracket then is secured using Nuts and Washers on each side of the Braket flanges.
