For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Do they charge a flat rate for an engine teardown, or do they charge by the hour for their work? Some shops do not charge for the teardown if the repair/replacement parts are sourced through them, but I would make sure and know this sort of thing.
I'm commenting here because I have had all these conversations with several machine shops the past two months-- each one was different.
Give 'em a call.
Brad
