Top end is off and ready for the machine shop but I'm stuck with the oil pump. I've got the brass nuts that hold the oil line in place loosened but can't figure out how to get the pump off. Manual says, "Remove oil pump retaining sleeve lock screw and remove oil pump and pump to block oil line."
Their exploded diagram doesn't show a retaining screw and I sure can't find one. So how do I get the pump off/out? Thanks.
A VW guy trying his hand at a '59 LB fs. Lots to learn, but it's about the journey.
