I have a fresh rebuild on my 235 and I was wondering what the oil pressure should be at operating temperature. I rebuilt it a few years back and it has always ran at about 30 psi when it warmed up while idling. Today was the first time I have got to get it out on the road. It started out the same but after about 20 miles it dropped to probable 20-25 psi at a stop while idling. I'm assuming this is probably fine. After it is shut off for an hour and cools off a bit it goes right back to 30 psi at idle. Also going down the road it runs 45-55 psi at roughly 50 mph. Thanks guys | | |
