You could just buy some new spindles that have mounts for disk brake calipers.
I too have been looking into changing my torsion front end. I think I'm leaving it and changing spindles. My next choice was to find a 72-75 chevy truck with disc brakes and replace the cradle and suspension, brakes, etc..
