I have a vintage air ac system that was installed by my mechanic. He added a toggle switch rather than wiring it through the ignition key. When I stopped the truck I hit the toggle and it kept running. With further inspection I found that the fuse installed just behind the switch was melted to a mush of plastic. It is easy enough to replace the fuse, but what would have caused it to over heat and not blow?

Who owns this car with the peace sign, mag wheels, and 4 on the floor?
