My cousin just had a problem with his brakes after we had to take it all apart to install a SBC in it.It turned out to be one of the brake pads,caliper, was hung up on one of the sliders.It all looked good but the bracket was flexing just a little.We took it apart and got it to move free and all is well.It's on a 54 1st with a CCP kit.Same soft pedal as you.We also thought there was air in the sys.
