Well I got the new seal in and I left the felt packing off, so it moved the new seal off the small warn spot on the yoke shaft. When I was putting the yoke pinion nut back on I had to really crank it. The book says between 160ftlbs-280ftlbs. It fell between notches on the castle nut at 160. So my torque wrench bottomed out at 250 and it almost got it so I could get the cotter key in. I had to go just a little more, I know that I have to be close to the 280 mark. I hope the pinion bearing dose not hand grenade when I take it out for a spin lol.
