After installing a new cam and lifters in my 1957 322 V8 my engine builder asked me to run Shell Rotella T 15w40 with Erson Cam ZDDP. He says it's cheap insurance and since I'm not an oil chemist and don't want to have issues I'll follow his advise. He's been re-building antique car, truck and tractor motors for over 40 years. I've put almost 9,000 miles on the new cam, so far so good!
