It is just very different from a modern vehicle. The brakes don't stop on a dime, the steering is sloppy, and the gears were a little hard to find. Also, I hit the starter button a couple times by accident.

The deal breaker was the "hesitation" on acceleration. After driving it to fill up with gas I think maybe it feels like a faulty accelerator pump, so I switched to a rebuilt carb.

It's all good though, I'll be hauling dirt in no time. One of the best things about the truck is the sound of the engine. Tick-a-tick-a-ticka! Sweeeeeet.
