This week we installed a 1954 windshield (and rear cab glass). Each follows the contour of the pinch-weld all around the glass/opening.
Are you installing the deluxe stainless-steel surround with the windshield (if so, good luck).
We used a Classic Parts seal and it worked well. We used a lot of personal lubricant in the grooves of the rubber. We had to work and stretch the seal, and pry-out the seal with
nylon tools.
