Hey Tim,
Ok here's what I figured out. I have a mix of seat spring sets. The one style uses the C clip over the frame edge and the other style uses the C clips outer side in the seats bottom channel. So I used a bottle opener to expand the channel to accept the fabric and the C clip. Pretty cool. Thank you for the pictures. I would have sent pictures like you did but I really don't know how.
