On my 1954 Suburban, the "jump seat" does use the
"C clips". Hog rings seem to be appropriate on these two cushions
All other seat cushions have an outer groove for the C clips. They work great, but they are a pain in the ... to remove.
If you are using Jim Carter's
installation kits, it is inadequate. You will need a piece of short-nap carpet or your butt will feel the springs. Maybe someone else will comment (hopefully Denny Graham).
