Looks like you are referring to a 235 car engine (" . . . the car would start . . . ")?
Mechanical or solid lifters?
- Manual transmission 235 would have solid lifters.
- Powerglide car would have hydraulic lifters (except for Corvette).
Did they adjust the valves?
How?
Did they adjust the timing?
How?
