I have a suggestion and I am by no means a mechanic but
if it needs a cam, then it will need other stuff and that garage would probably end up costing you about $3,000 bucks, just ask them what they think the total cost would be, then you can trailer it home and think about it........you can buy a good rebuilt 235 all day long for $700 bucks or so..

I wish you luck my friend, I think when you said you could dump fuel and it would run that the fuel pump probably fixed it but they wanted to go farther... I dont know but for sure... but
