Fred,
47-55 Advance-Design (and GMC New Design) doors can be used interchangeably.
The door-latches and door-catches have to match the year/style of the door. And, the door handle should match the year/style of the door (and its latch/catch).
Are you also asking if you can use a one-piece (47-50) side glass in a vent-window door?
