You can use doors from 1947-1951 on your truck with no modifications. If you decide to use a 1952-1955 door, you will run into problems with the door meeting the jam. Not only did they use a different latch and striker, they changed the jam making it difficult to interchange doors. I know people have interchanged these doors, but there is always a fit problem.
Installing a vent window on a non-vent door requires a lot of metal modifications and would be very time consuming. The door/window opening on the 1947/1950 is narrow and this was changed in 1951 with the introduction of the vent window. The door garnishes will not work either.
