For myself these old girls were not made for speed. Do not expect to race off the line, just sit back and enjoy the ride and the shifting will become natural. As one post said just use the finger method, clutch move to nuetral ,release clutch, engage clutch, slip in. And enjoy the ride and don't for get to wave to everyone.
