Allright lets see..
I've got this switch:
Signal-Stat 900But i bought
this one now, so i might replace it.
Anyway, something weird is going on.
1. Someone cut the black/grey wire from the switch, because the taillights have separate bulbs for brake light and seperate bulbs for turn signal. So that i understand. (But brakelights dont work, where is the switch? Dont see one on the brake pedal nor the main brake cylinder..?
2. Well anyway the weird thing is, that on the left side, everything works well, except that the turnsignal doesnt start to flash untill about 2 seconds after i turn the switch.
But on the left side it becomes weird.
With positionlights on, and starting to use the turn signal it flashes realllll slow. Also when it flashes, the brakebulb flashes while the positionbulb turns off. Hard to discribe..
So i think someone has done the wiring incorrectly. Plus that they've soldered instead of using real conectors.

So i was thinking, im going to change all the wiring to all the lamps. Headlight, turn signal, brakelight. EVERYTHING.
But here's my "problem".
the wiring from the turn signal switch to the lamps is easy. I know how to do that. But i took a quick peek at the light switch on the dashboard. And there's still the original wiring with the weird cottonwiring. So i want to replace them aswell.
3. The light switch has two modes: parking/position light, and headlights. Then the switch on the floor switches hi-beam/lo-beam.
Its dusty as crap, so i cant really see, but I found an image on the webs,
this one. Is that the right one?
4. Then..
Do I understand this correctly?:
Headlamp -> power for highbeam/lowbeam
stoplamp -> power to brakelightswitch?
tail lamp -> normal position light on tails.
parking lamp -> small 5 Watt bulbs in headlights?
Im sorry but its a bit hard to explain everything in english.. hope you guys understand and can help me..
THANKS!!
EditOkay, the turnsignal light does work as it should when the normal lights are switched OFF. Also i found the brakelight switch, i was a bit blind earlier today i guess

But still, brakelights dont work.
