I used shocks from autozone
...link... The mount broke where a previous weld repair had been done.
The rivets are still in place. Just the top of the mount broke off.
Both front mounts had this weld repair.

I ordered new mounts and should arrive next week.
Not sure if I can get a bolt with a shoulder that short. But I'll look.
I'm still amazed haw this would go unnoticed while I was driving it around including on the highway. Not a hint of handling problems.
