I'm having trouble finding original, 6 lug wheels (although I haven't completely exhausted all of the possibilities on the swap meet page, yet). All I can find are 15" 6 lug wheels or 5 lug 16" wheels.
I'm considering converting from 6 lugs to 5 lugs. I figure that this won't effect the original "look" of the truck.
Has anyone had any experience doing this? I expect that I'm going to have to replace the front and rear brake drums and the rear spindles. I don't think that the drums will be too much of a problem but is there a spindle that I can put in place of the originals without making any other modifications? | | |
