I never got the hang of flux core welding. Once I got the argon/c02 mix gas, it all came together. I have predictable results every time. I learned that a little on the hot side, but faster wire speed works best for me. A must is a really clean ground close to the work. Lots of very thin sheetmetal even butt welded together, no issues. I just cant get my welds to LOOK good. Good penetration but my technique needs work. That's what grinders are for!
